Very interesting read.

Maude by Donna Foley Mabry

This biography details the life of Maude. Although it wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read, it did have a quality about it that made me want to read into the late hours of the night.

Maude was born into hardship and it never seemed to be far away from her. This isn’t a book with a happy ending where everything turns out right.

This is life. Raw and bittersweet.

Maude herself is the heroine in this book. As life crumbles around her, her strength of character and gentle spirit claims victory over every disaster life throws at her.

This book is a winner.
